What is the student to teacher ratio?

The preschool strives to maintain a 6/1 ratio for Pre-K and three year old classes, 4/1 for two year old classes.

How do you handle child allergies?

All snacks are peanut free. An allergy action plan is implemented for each student with a food allergy.

Do you offer any tuition discounts?

A 10% discount is offered for siblings. Scholarship applications are available if needed.

Are snacks provided?

Students provide snacks on a rotational basis.

What type of snacks should I bring?

Simple, healthy snacks are encouraged. Examples: graham crackers, fruit, goldfish, veggies.

Do the classes go on field trips? 

Students in the three-year-old and Pre-K classes take one to two field trips per year.

How is information communicated to the parents?

Monthly director newsletter and calendar.

Daily activities listed on classroom information board.

Class DOJO parent communication app and Facebook page called Friends of WSUCC.

 Which School Districts are serviced by your program?

Our preschool is centrally located between four different school districts.  We have students from Lampeter-Strasburg, Penn Manor, Solanco,  School District of Lancaster, and other districts.

Where is the preschool located?

The school is in the Willow Street United Church of Christ, 2723 Willow Street Pike North in Willow Street. Entrance is in the back of the church under the carport.

When does registration open?

Registration opens in early January for children of current or former preschool families and members of WSUCC. Registration for new families opens mid-January.
